Married to The Enemy- Shingen- Ch. 38
No Shingen in this chapter. In this chapter we see what the rest of the gang back in Kasugayama are up to when the Oda come to visit!
Also, gets quite steamy between Yuki and Saki! NSFW 18+ (though not explicit)
Chapter 38
Back in the Sengoku…
A bad storm had swept through and delayed the arrival of the Oda forces a few days. Yukimura was honestly glad for that. It had given him more time to prepare. They were all standing at the castle gate…Kenshin with them, waiting to greet the Oda on their arrival.
“I am growing bored.” Kenshin muttered as he popped a pickled plum in his mouth. The others had already started plying him with sake and his favorite treat in an effort to keep him calm.
Yukimura sighed. “Please don’t say that, Lord Kenshin…” He knew exactly what happened when Kenshin got bored.
Just then there was the sound of horse hooves on the ground and then the Oda forces were appearing. “What a welcome party this is.” Nobunaga declared. “Though it seems some are missing.”
“Where is Ava?” Hideyoshi asked, his hand resting on the hilt of his sword. He wasn’t usually one to jump to a fight, but if the one he considered his precious little sister was hurt…
“Calm down, if you notice, she’s probably off somewhere with Shingen. He’s not here either.” Ieyasu said.
“But if you’re looking for a fight, I’d still be happy to engage you in battle.” Kenshin said to Hideyoshi.
Yukimura heaved out a sigh. “Lord Kenshin, please.”
Kanetsugu was at his lord’s side. “My lord, I can see why you would be ready to jump into battle. But it is not wise to do so here.”
Kenshin nodded. “Alright.”
The Oda were dismounting and attendants were taking their horses. “So, where is my lucky charm and that tiger?” Nobunaga asked.
“Well, given how things have been progressing, they finally decided to take their honeymoon, my lords.” Saki answered.
“Really?” Hideyoshi asked.
Saki nodded. “Yup. I think before too long we might be hearing news that there’s an Oda-Takeda baby on the way.”
Hideyoshi looked like he was about to faint at that thought. Nobunaga looked amused. Ieyasu was repressing a groan.
“Why did you have to phrase it that way, Saki?” Yukimura asked.
Saki just giggled. “Oh, come on. Like you’re not as aware of what’s been going on as I am.” She teased, elbowing him in the ribs. She was then turning back to the Oda forces. “Now, if you three will follow me, I’ll show you to your rooms so you can get ready. We’ll have a banquet tonight. Lord Yoshimoto has arranged for some entertainment for everyone that I think will be perfect to keep everyone happy.”
Ieyasu looked over at Yoshimoto then. He had seen him when they’d first arrived, but didn’t believe it. A ghost from his past…but he seemed different here.
Saki was leading the Oda forces off to show them to their rooms. Yukimura heaved out a sigh of relief. “Okay, that went better than I thought.” He said.
“Don’t look so relieved. We still have the banquet and the next few days to get through.” Kanetsugu reminded him.
“You really couldn’t just let me have that, could you?” Yukimura asked.
“I just didn’t want you to let your guard down.” Kanetsugu replied.
Inside with the Oda forces…
“Saki, you would tell us if there was something more going on with Ava, right?” Hideyoshi asked once they were inside and away from the others. They were standing in the common area of the group of rooms the men would be staying in.
Saki nodded. “You know if something were wrong I would tell you, my lords.” She said. “I came here with Lady Ava to stand by her and support her. If I thought she was in any kind of danger, I would say so.”
“You should calm down, Monkey.” Nobunaga reminded Hideyoshi. “I believe my lucky charm has fully captured the tiger. When Saki called us here before because of those rumors that had been going around and upsetting Ava, Shingen couldn’t even look at me with the same hatred as before.”
Hideyoshi nodded, but didn’t look happy about it. Saki patted him on the shoulder. “I promise you, Lord Hideyoshi, Lady Ava is perfectly happy with Lord Shingen. He has been treating her VERY well.”
“He’s just grumpy because he wanted to see her.” Ieyasu said, clearly outing Hideyoshi.
“As if I am the only one.” Hideyoshi said. “Everyone wanted to come and see her. You just happened to be the one to win the game that you all played to see who could take the third spot.”
Ieyasu’s cheeks reddened. “The game I was forced to play by Masamune.”
Saki was giggling. “Oh, it’s nice to see some things never change.” She said. “I am sure Lady Ava will be sorry she missed all of this.”
Hours later…
Everyone had gathered in the main hall of Kasugayama for the banquet. Everyone was feasting and drinking and enjoying themselves…well except for Yukimura who was nervously attending to everything in his lord’s stead…and also worrying over whether Kenshin would get bored and stabby or not.
“You should relax and have yourself a drink.” Saki said as she poured a cup of sake for Yukimura.
“I can’t relax.” He replied.
“Everything is going just fine.” She told him. “Lord Yoshimoto’s play went over well and Lord Kenshin and Lord Nobunaga are engaged in a lively conversation over tactics and exchanging battle stories. Lord Ieyasu and Kanetsugu seem to be getting along. Lord Hideyoshi is…well being himself by trying to mother everyone.”
Yukimura looked around the room and noticed Saki was right. Everyone did seem to be getting along despite everything. “I still don’t think I’ll be able to relax till this entire visit is over.” He was then taking a drink of the sake.
“Well, then I might just have to do something about that.” Saki declared a glint in her eyes.
“What are you thinking?” Yukimura asked.
Saki was reaching for his hand. “Come with me.”
“We can’t…”
“Everything will be fine for a little bit.” Saki said. “We’ll be right back. Just stepping out for some air.”
Yukimura allowed Saki to lead him from the room and out to the moonlit garden. It was a clear night with bright stars and a big full moon. They made their way to a secluded spot well away from the castle. “Saki, what are you thinking?” He asked.
“Just that YOU needed a distraction to help you relax.” Saki replied turning to face Yukimura. She then wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed her body close to his. “A distraction that only I can provide for you.”
Yukimura’s cheeks reddened. “Saki, we really shouldn’t we have th…” HIs words were cut off by Saki’s lips pressing against his. Instantly his arms wrapped around her waist and holding her tightly to him. Her kisses were easy to get lost in and make him forget about the rest of the world for a little while.
The kiss deepened as Saki’s lips parted on a sigh and Yukimura slid his tongue inside to twist and tangle with hers. The taste of sake and the sweet buns she’d been eating lingered on her tongue, adding to the deliciousness of the kiss.
Slowly they sank to the soft grass beneath them as the kiss continued to grow more and more passionate. Yukimura found himself slowly losing control and even forgetting about where they were. He pulled Saki into his lap so that she was straddling him as the one deep kiss turned into a steamy makeout session.
He let his hands wander over her body, feeling her curves through the fabric of her kimono. Saki’s hands explored Yukimura with equal enthusiasm. Yukimura trailed kisses down the side of her neck, his hands loosening the collar of her kimono so that his lips could continue to explore her collarbone and chest. “Mmm…I want you…Saki” Yukimura found himself saying, having completely forgotten anything other than his beautiful lover in his arms. He’d been wanting her for so long, but had managed to restrain himself, afraid of taking things too far too fast.
Saki let out a low moan and ground her hips against his. “Mmm…I want you, too…Yukimura…”
That was all the invitation Yukimura needed to completely lose his control. Robes were quickly pushed aside as fingers and hands began to explore each other, working each other up further before their bodies finally fully connected.
“Ngh…Yukimura…” Saki moaned as she began to move her hips, riding him, relishing in the feeling of being fully connected with her lover.
“Mnh…Saki…” Yukimura moaned back, his hands squeezing her hips, his lips exploring her skin. “You’re…so…beautiful…”
“And you’re…so handsome…”
The pair relished in their love-making out there in the moonlit garden. They continued to move together before finding release together. Saki was giggling as she slowly came down from her pleasure high.
“What’s…so funny?” Yukimura asked, reaching up to move some of her hair from her face.
“It seemed…my distraction was more effective than I had anticipated.” She replied.
Yukimura’s eyes widened. “We…I…”
Saki giggled again as she took Yukimura’s face between her hands. “It’s alright.” She told him. “The castle isn’t on fire. So I am sure all is well.”
“Well…it’s not just that…I thought…our first time should be more romantic…” He replied with blushing cheeks.
Saki smiled. “It was perfectly romantic.” She replied. “I mean we have a moonlit garden setting…and well it’s you.”
“What do you mean it's me?” Yukimura asked.
“Just being with you is what makes me happy and is what I want.” Saki answered. “Being with you is what makes a moment romantic, dummy. Because I love you.”
Yukimura smiled. “I love you, too.” He said, pecking her lips. “We should probably still get straightened up and head back inside. Make sure no one has killed anyone yet.”
Saki giggled. “Probably.” She agreed.
The pair quickly separated and straightened themselves out before heading inside. They stopped at a mirror in the hall to make sure they looked presentable before heading inside. Saki was thankful Lord Masamune wasn’t there. He definitely would have noticed and teased them both…though she could tell by the look on Lord Nobunaga’s face HE knew.
“It appears the tiger isn’t the only one the women of the Oda find charming.” Nobunaga observed with a smirk. “He must have taught his vassal something.”
“Well, that would make Lord Shingen very happy to learn.” Saki replied, playing it cool, causing Nobunaga to chuckle.
The banquet went on the rest of the night, no incidents…well except for Hideyoshi drinking a bit too much and maybe being a bit too honest before Nobunaga commanded him to quiet down and go rest for the night. And somehow Lord Nobunaga and Lord Kenshin ended up agreeing to a round of sparring the next morning. It was honestly all going very smoothly.
Saki smiled as she watched everyone. Just wait till you come back Lady Ava and hear all about this. She thought. She knew Ava would be happy to hear it all.

I don't really get the hate on End of Judgement tbh like poor animation quality is definitely a good point but other than that ? Sure Masamune gets quite rough treatment but there's character development at least, and for once he's not one of the sole character to get spotlight
I mean, I think SBSH/3 story's strong point is how every character's story is loosely or closely entertwined ; they definitely managed to get that "full war" vibe
IG SB made the choice to have a Masamune/Yukimura/Keiji focus which made the anime unable to treat SBSH/3 and lead to Last Party being very mid in terms of scenario and ever midder in terms of character development
Like ok it's a movie but ??? There's a whole point to Ieyasu and Mitsunari relationship which is mostly subtext in the game and more thoroughly explored in SBEoJ ; and it's like, the deeply paradoxal stance of Ieyasu and Mitsunari
He prones peace and comradeship but he betrayed Hideyoshi to accomplish this, which just proves how violence is, in fact, the way to country domination
In the end what Ieyasu does is just presenting ppl with an alternative, but ultimately, he'll resort to force if needed
Mitsunari can't accept that, he's pure in the sense that he can't accept any kind of betrayal, and he can't accept the paradox that Ieyasu represents, yet, even though he doesn't know, his army only holds on bc of Yoshitsugu who uses methods he hates
So in the end, they're both paradoxal characters and their paradoxes give birth to an all out yet pointless war
MY POINT BEING SBEoJ definitley deserves credit for exploring this and still find time to give the spotlight to other characters so it kinds of annoys me when the discourse on the anime (that I've read about) seems mainly aimed at Masamune's treatment or the animation
Anyway my point is, I truly think that EoJ is a great adaptation in terms of scenario and it's hard to hold it accountable for taking a different stance on the franchise bc, SB3 already takes a very different stance on the franchise, it's darker, more serious, and it incorporates events that marked a point of no return for the SB franchise
Honestly SB2H is my favorite game of the franchise, to me it has everything that makes SB a memorable franchise and that's also why I love IG SB. But in itself, SBSH/3 is still a passionating game and EoJ is still an anime deserving of credit

May 31 - Ueno Park/Tokyo National Museum and Akihabara
We visited yet another green space within Tokyo, which holds a shrine constructed in reverence to Ieyasu Tokugawa. The shrine was the most ornate that I’ve seen on this trip, covered in gold and surrounded by gardens on all sides. What truly wows me about these parks is how separated they are from the city. No clutter, no noise. It really allows one to fully immerse themselves in the site. Within the park was the Tokyo National Museum which has to be my favorite museum I’ve ever visited (better than the Smithsonian’s in DC). Listing the items I saw today would be futile as the museum is home to a wide array of art forms and historical objects. What I truly enjoyed was the range of time periods these items came from. The item that I found most intriguing was a mirror plate constructed in the 4th century. This mirror plate features incredibly detailed designs, and raised spirals protruding out. While all the items within the museum were of high craftsmanship, the time period in which this item was constructed is what drew me to it. While I was inspecting the mirror, I tried to imagine what level of civilization must have existed in 4th century Japan for metallurgy on this level to be facilitated. This particular line of reasoning was in my head because my professor had told us that during this time period no real records exist of how society had functioned.
Once we left the park we went to the Ameyako shopping district, and while I didn’t do much shopping I had a delicious Butadon bowl which was pork cooked in a black pepper sauce over rice. After eating we departed for Akihabara, and as a major fan of manga this is the place to be for me. However, this location is only 8 minutes away (on foot) from our hotel so I had already partially explored it. Still I walked around with some peers and ended up finding an art book I had been on the hunt for during my previous journey. I spent most of my night here before eventually going back to my hotel.
Academic Reflection
Today’s readings were quite illuminating. While I had previously considered myself an “otaku” which I thought just meant someone who had a deep appreciation for Japanese media (mainly manga/anime), I will no longer apply that title to myself. The readings delved deep into the subculture, and pathology of those involved in the subculture which I am far removed from. Otakus are specifically concerned with objects of desire that take no physical form in reality. They exist in a mixture of their own fantasy world, the fantasy worlds they prescribe to, and reality. What I found most interesting about our readings was the concept of a “grand narrative” and how as we enter post modern times that grand narrative has begun to crack unable to provide the structure it used to. I think this is easily observable all throughout the globe as government and religious institutions no longer garner the same faith they used to as the stories they force onto the world are simply incompatible with the rapid change in our present society. Upon thinking about it a bit the turning point (if I had to choose one) would likely be the creation of the internet and it’s proliferation around the globe. While I should say I have never existed in a world before the internet, the vast amount of knowledge at my finger tips makes the framework of the grand narratives present in the West obsolete. I come to this conclusion because before the internet one would have to believe the institutions in power whether it be the government, religion, or news/media as no other sources of knowledge existed. While one could gain education, there would be no way to “fact check” current events against what the dominant institutions had to say. In this way the readings today almost treat the otaku as forerunners for what individuals who are no longer restricted by a grand narrative would look like.
However, this chance may also have some equally negative drawbacks. The otaku is believed to seclude themselves from certain parts of society, and while this is mainly a stereotype I would argue it’s inherent to the way they lead their lives. Even in the consumption of media like anime the otaku has a sort of removed attachment where the original work (that becomes parodied by otaku culture) is not of importance. The original work is comparable to the concept of the grand narrative, and when otakus move beyond that original work all the media consumed becomes a simulacrum. I would argue this is problematic as the lines of “reality” (talking about the reality of the media) becomes blurred/nonexistent giving way to complete fantasy. While I’m not quite sure I’m in a place to label Japanese individuals as otakus from a glance, I can sense a sort of detachment when a man in a suit who has come off work is purchasing pornographic material of what tends to be girls drawn to look like children. Maybe these men do not see a problem with depictions such as lolicon, for example, because they are so abstracted from the reality of it.

I’m a terribly sorry for that long ass text🥲
I find your type really interesting and for lack of better words, really pure? Like i can see that you analyse the character get to know their personality and choose them yk? Like you like leadership qualities etc see what i mean?
And there’s me.. 😭 me who just like the craziest/ funniest/good looks/ charismatic one. i think i like them a bit messed up too like traumatised it might be because i relate. (which leads them to the craziness not a bad one tho) or bad relationship with family etc
There is 2 categories of characters i like
First the crazies : they catch my attention right away if good crazy (and my type) they make laugh or i be like naaaaaaah he’s crazy for that !!! *eyes sparkling*
Sub category is crazy but not my type. I’d still like to see the character
And the 2nd is the charismatic i don’t give a fuck-ers you might say it’s the same as the crazy one and it might be true 😭
But the difference is that we know they actually give a fuck and they think before doing something (well not always)
Some examples. Do you know kuroko no basket? If yes you already know who’s my favourite 😃 yes akashi. i like aomine and murasakibara too
Bllk? You guessed it Kaiser, bachi, and shido (charles is a bit crazy bur not my type but i still like him) well mihya is not crazy per se but he’s messed up.. my poor baby- wait i forgot he manipulates and destroys people for his entertainment he is crazy. Do i have to explain bachi and shido?😂
I play otome game idk if you know about ikemen prince but my fav ? Prince Clavis of course the prince who pit trap is way around the castle, who tries to assassinate his genius brother every birthday (he loves him so much sigh) 😭
Every time i watch/play something i fall hard for the crazy good looking guy i swear don’t even do it on purpose 😭
Well i also like badass/dumb but it has to be well done if not it just piss me off for some reason
Again sorry to make you read all of that!
-🦘
[🐟]: It's okay, Kangaroo Anonie. I read all of it, so now read my own yapping >:)
Pure... Never really thought of them that way to be honest. I guess they are good people when compared to other characters I like, but then again, it's hard to say since they're in a normal everyday life setting. But, all things considered, I think they're pretty 'pure' as you say hehe. Like I swear this is my type irl like where do I find a man like that in this economy????
NO, but I get that!! I also like the crazies sometimes or the idgafers. Sometimes they just stand out and it's hard to miss them, so you end up liking them.
KnB is my favorite sports anime actually lol. I like it more than Bllk tbh. Akashi used to be my favorite, but I realized that I like Aomine more now. Though if I would date any of them it would be Takao haha.
My Bllk favs are Bachi and Kaiser, so I kinda understand you there lolol.
KANGAROO ANON YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT YOU TRIGGERED IN MY BRAIN WHEN YOU MENTIONED IKEPRI. I've played a lot of otome before lol, but sadly, I haven't tried IkePri. I have played IkeSen, IkeVamp, and IkeRev.
I REALLY love Ieyasu and Masamune from IkeSen; Napoleon and Mozart from IkeVamp; Ray from IkeRev. Omfg I love the Ikemen series sm. Thank you for mentioning that.
Who doesn't like the badass characters though? Tbh I can go on and on about this trope, but I've yapped enough I feel.
Anw, YOU'RE SO COOL KANGAROO ANON <3

My thoughts on the routes in IkeVamp:
1. Isaac - My favorite route to reread when we have collection events. He's not even in my top 3 LIs, but I adore how his route is written. Very satisfying development. Great dialog. The revived historical rival provides a heartbreaking moment where Isaac *might* have been able to have another genius to understand him again. I always think about 'what might have been'.
2. Leonardo - Starts off BEAUTIFULLY. I adore how he handles a frightened nervous MC. VA is Kenjiro Tsuda, so good luck not falling for that mellow voice! Keeping this list spoiler-free, so I can't tell you the reason I have major saltiness with Leo's route, but it's near the end. 80% of the route is lovely, fun, comforting. No historical foe/friend shows up.
3. Arthur - Excellent development. Rare sighting of 'real Arthur' instead of the one-dimensional horny playboy we see in other routes and every story event. Many cute moments. The revived rival provides some interesting insight, but Arthur's memories related to being an army medic are far more telling. By the end he starts to experience hope because of MC.
4. Napoleon - Honestly? The plot is more interesting than Napoleon. He has some chemistry with MC, but maybe my impression of him was soured by the comparisons players drew between him and Alyn Crawford from the game Midnight Cinderella, and the fact that he was such an over-used poster boy. Not Napoleon's fault, I know, I know! So my opinion is biased against him for weird reasons. Best part? Revived rival. So much shipping in the fandom.
5. Vincent - I love me a sad boi. What's better than a sad boi? How about a sad boi who can't even feel sad? Or feel anything? Sweet sunshine boi learns to Feel Things.
6. Comte - He's my #1 LI, but his story was just meh.... There wasn't the range of experiences and emotions I expected. A little boring to be honest. But I still love him, therefore his route is in the middle ranking.
7. Mozart - Great choice of revived rival. Enjoyed his development from grumpy sass queen to slightly-less-grumpy lover. Once he's in love his teasing game improves 100% (which is more than can be said about similar prickly Ieyasu in IkeSen). He's not my type at all, but the route is entertaining.
8. Dazai - Oof. Cybird did NOT know how to handle suicidal depression. This route could have been much more satisfying at the end (I had hoped what they had done for Yoshimoto's ending, would have been present in Dazai's). His route was missing hope. HOWEVER, I still loved it and will reread it when I need some good ol' angst. No revived rival shows up.
9. Shakespeare - Not a fan of him. Didn't understand MC's nonsensical reasoning for 90% of her actions/decisions. I felt sorry for both of them because their relationship was so shallow.
10. Sebastian- He's my #2, but his route was a let-down. It had SO MUCH potential, but it took some weird turns, and then fell flat. And they lacked chemistry. But I really loved how he found hope through his love for MC. Hope ends up being a big motivator here.
11. Theo - um.... I don't remember much about his route, tbh. I had difficulty reconciling myself to his treatment of MC, so I think I speed-tapped through it.
11. Jean - The boy is not poorly written, but his route never grabbed me. But that's most likely due to the absence of hope.
I haven't finished Vlad's or Faust's routes yet, so I didn't include them in this list.
As you might have guessed, hope is a major theme I enjoy.
FYI: The translator who localized the route makes a HUGE difference in readability and enjoyable experience.
The talented and devoted person who localized the routes of Isaac, Napo, Mozart, Arthur, Leonardo, and Shakespeare gave us wonderful gifts with her words. I will miss her work. The difference between her Napo and the Napo translated in the most recent story event is striking. Very disappointing that the new translator decided to ignore continuity and replace his 'Nunuche' with 'idiot'. My anticipation for Act II and sequels are greatly diminished because her masterful hand won't be working on those routes. 💔
IKEVAMP PLAYERS WHAT ROUTES WOULD YOU RECOMMEND

Ikesen Headcannon where the Mc has an almost an almost identical personality to the suitor?
Also, I’ve been reading through your posts and they made me smile—have had a hard time doing that as of late so thank you!
A/N: Hi there! Thank you for the kind words, I’m really happy that you’ve been able to smile from my blog!! This definitely made my day :))))))
You didn’t specify a suitor so I assumed you wanted all the Ikesen men. Because there are so many, I didn’t think I’d be able to fully cover the scope of what it’d be like if MC had almost the same personality so I decided to narrow it down to one or two traits that the suitors have and go from there. I hope that’s okay and that you enjoy it regardless! ❤️ Would love to revisit some time later and write something proper where MC and the suitor have identical personalities!
-
[HC] MC sharing traits with the warlords
Suitor(s): Nobunaga, Hideyoshi, Mitsunari, Mitsuhide, Masamune, Ieyasu, Kenshin, Shingen Content Warnings: None
Nobunaga
He’s met his match alright
Sure, the other warlords have big, strong personalities
But Nobunaga and MC?
Even Mitsuhide was surprised to see the two dominating figures in a room together and not be at each other’s throats
Hideyoshi was even more flabbergasted when Nobunaga began letting MC have a bigger stake at war councils
Masamune found the whole thing to be amusing; Ieyasu, a waste of time
Mitsunari was happy enough to have MC participating
MC was no warrior—she knew that well enough—but she certainly had the ability to adapt, persevere, learn, and share thoughts on current situations
Nobunaga acknowledged that and once he realized the depth of his feelings for her, he decided it was best to have her in the loop of things
Hence, the increased participation in war councils
Though he’d never admit it, Nobunaga found himself quite impressed and head over heels for a woman who matched his tenacity, yet maintained some degree of innocence a soldier would never have
He really did believe MC was his lucky charm
Never did he think he’d be allowed a love like this—someone to confide in, both personally and professionally; to have both input and support while pursuing a wild dream of unifying Japan
Hideyoshi
Just imagine Ieyasu’s eyes rolling when everyone recognized MC taking after the resident mother hen Hideyoshi
Extreme loyalty was perhaps MC’s Achilles heel
How Nobunaga was to Hideyoshi, Mitsunari was to MC
It truly warmed Hideyoshi’s heart to see someone besides Nobunaga recognize the talent and potential in his favorite vassal
Hideyoshi and MC actually started spending more time together on account of looking after Mitsunari, which then prompted teasing from Mitsuhide
Ieyasu went as far as calling the two a married couple looking after a lost child
Eventually, late-night discussions about Mitsunari’s future success morphed into long conversations about each other’s hopes and dreams, which then served as a catalyst for MC to start looking after Hideyoshi
And Hideyoshi could do nothing more than to accept this level of attention from her and develop deeper feelings for MC
Mitsunari
MC and Mitsunari—like two roses in a bed of thorns
They’re both known for such a lovely and radiating personality that contrasts the cruel warring period they were placed in
The others will often find the two completing tasks for one another or doing sneaky little things to lighten the load for the other person
Ieyasu will often ask Mitsunari why he even troubles him with errands when there’s MC who will gladly do anything for anyone with a smile on her face
“Oh, I couldn’t possibly ask Lady MC. She’s done far too much for me as of late.”
And just before Ieyasu could leave a bitter remark about how MC could run marathons and still offer her help—
“Ieyasu, play nice, we all know you like to check in on Mitsu from time to time… Mitsunari, did you need something? You know I’m always happy to help out with things! Oh, these must be the books that need to be returned to the archives… and here are the documents Masamune was looking for… and oh, Ieyasu, here’s the leftover salve Mitsunari said he would return!”
Mitsunari’s mouth hung open in surprise—maybe he did need MC’s help with some things
There may be two balls of sunshine in Azuchi castle but MC is surely more “present” than Mitsunari if that’s what you’d like to call it
Things don’t fly over her head nearly as much as they do Mitsunari’s and she’s always quick to defend him when soldiers start poking fun at him
Ieyasu grumbled a “thank you” and “I certainly do not like to check in on the dolt, I simply need to—er, Nobunaga and Hideyoshi need me to…” before leaving
One thing MC loved about Mitsu was his extreme focus and attentiveness in matters that were important to him
One of them being books
You best believe Hideyoshi was thinking “Oh no, what do we do? Now there’s two of them who can never get their head out of a book.” when he found MC and Mitsunari buried deep in books about clothing and battle tactics, dinners untouched
Mitsuhide
If there was anything the warlords didn’t particularly appreciate about the chatelaine, it was the stark resemblance to Mitsuhide’s teasing and elusive mannerisms
Sometimes, the maids were certain they recognized a glint in MC’s eyes identical to the infamous kitsune’s
Nobunaga considered it all to be fine entertainment; he found it quite amusing to see his fireball trade insults with the rest of them, no matter the time or place
Mitsuhide was particularly impressed by how easily the lies seemed to roll off MC’s tongue
Where was she from? Why didn’t she know basic history? Why was her writing so unique? What region could possibly account for her strange colloquial terms?
MC had an answer for everything, whether they were plausible reasonings or not—that was the fun of it, she thought
Unlike Mitsuhide, who lied and deceived on another level for Nobunaga, MC lied and evaded questions for the simple joy of fabricating stories
Of course, Masamune, at one point, said she’d be better off as a performer than a princess if she was to go on telling obvious lies one day and not-so-obvious lies the other day
Usually, the warlords put up with MC’s Mitsuhide-like personality, but on the days where they didn’t, expect that Hideyoshi would give MC a stern talking to and then offer her tea and a meal before leaving his manor
Masamune
What. A. Flirt.
Masamune had a field day when MC was first brought to Azuchi castle and she was not pulling any of her punches
Punches being suggestive comments and silly professions of love that matched Masamune’s, if not more—all while still on horseback
Oh, and the flirting was not limited to the One-Eyed Dragon
MC always enjoyed teasing the three who were most likely to get flustered—Hideyoshi, Mitsunari, and Ieyasu
“Mitsunari, when will you ever show up to war council not looking like a complete mess? You might as well shave your head if you’re not going to be putting in any effort to make your hair look presentable.”
“Oh, don’t listen to the grump, Mitsunari. I happen to think you look very cute just how you are right now,” MC confidently says while also flattening his cowlick.
“Oh! Ieyasu, would you like me to help fix your hair as well? Though I suppose not. The fluffy hair paired with those green eyes just makes you look so handsome.”
Poor Mitsunari and Ieyasu’s ears were searing hot after MC stepped into the council room, the two following behind with a laughing Masamune
Then came the days where Masamune realized how out of sorts he felt whenever MC teased and flirted with anyone else—the days where he knew for sure, that whenever he and MC went back and forth, it was real
And Masamune being Masamune didn’t really have an answer for this problem he was facing
Not a verbal one, at least
After spending the afternoon at the tea house with Ieyasu and Masamune, MC was naturally throwing compliments around
When they got to the gates of Azuchi castle, “Hey, Ieyasu, we’ll see ya later. The lass and I are going on a ride.”
MC was fully expecting Masamune to gallop but instead, it was a nice trot to a nearby lake
Words weren’t really exchanged, just a quiet appreciation for their surroundings
And without further thinking, Masamune landed a kiss on MC’s lips, which was enthusiastically returned
Ieyasu
When MC first arrived at Azuchi and wasn’t afraid to trade blows with the resident porcupine, Ieyasu sure was surprised (though, of course, he was quick to hide that with another scathing remark)
Oh, Nobunaga sure loved this—his lucky charm had a sharp tongue to go against (who he viewed as) his little brother
And when Nobunaga ordered Ieyasu to house MC after the ronin attack? Eyes were rolling to the back of their heads.
Mitsunari was really the only one excited for MC, exclaiming that there was a lot to learn from Lord Ieyasu if she chose to pursue any studies
Everyone else thought it was a situation waiting to go up in flames
The two never stopped bickering, but they always got things done
Strangely, Ieyasu and MC worked like a well-oiled machine
And at the end of the day, though they’d never admit it to each other, they were always impressed by the other, and there grew a need to never let the other person down, no matter the task
Then came the battle with the Uesugi-Takeda forces where Ieyasu and MC ran the infirmary
There was an enemy attack, leaving many injured soldiers scrambling or in the line of fire
MC took off, hoping to lend a hand to any handicapped warrior
“Really, MC. I thought by now, you’d be capable of possessing critical thinking skills.”
The rearguard was able to retreat successfully; Ieyasu was now tending to a wounded MC, whose arm was grazed by an arrow
“Ow! Hey, I thought you were supposed to be good at this.”
Out of worry, Ieyasu hadn’t realized just how much pressure he was applying while dressing her injury
“Yeah, well, that’s what you get for being a complete idiot and running towards the enemy.”
“Please, like you weren’t doing the same.”
“I was running after you and your pea-sized brain.”
“Oh, lucky you.”
The two locked eyes with each other, Ieyasu’s hand still latched onto MC’s now bandaged arm
There was a pause, a moment where their surroundings seemed to freeze, right before Ieyasu engulfed MC in a tight embrace
Arms wrapped around her neck, cheek pressed against the top of her head
“You’re a moron. A complete moron. Don’t even think of pulling something like that again.”
Kenshin
MC can hold her liquor
Like, seriously
No one could really believe it—Yukimura was extremely horrified and concerned that he’d be waking up to either a dead MC or a constantly-throwing-up MC in the morning
At this point, everyone saw Kenshin as the one true exception to the perils that excessive drinking could do to a person but damn, add MC to that very short list
Kenshin was certainly pleased to finally have a drinking partner that could and would match shot for shot with him, even if it was a woman
But… he pours all of her drinks with the slightest of smiles !!
At first, the drinking and the celebrations passed by in silence with the occasional quip whenever Shingen, Yukimura, or Sasuke said something ridiculous in Kenshin’s mind
As time passed and MC was slowly, but surely, developing the bravery to withstand Kenshin’s steely gaze and harsh threats, conversations of war and its purpose—specifically Kenshin’s purpose—came to be
What MC viewed as a step forward—discussing the logistics of fighting the Oda—was three steps backward for Kenshin, but MC refused to sway
Eventually, Kenshin stopped disregarding MC’s questions and gave his answers
When that didn’t satisfy her, Kenshin found himself seeking MC out and bringing her to more secluded locations, sake in hand, to discuss anything she wanted to know about him, Kasugayama, and Echigo
Shingen
MC could wax poetic all day and all night
And Shingen would gladly drown in her lyricism
He was used to flirting and doling out romanticisms for the women of Kasugayama, but to have someone so alluring, so exquisite, shower him with equally romantic one-liners?
Oh, he’s practically on his hands and knees, begging for more than just MC’s saccharine words
On the nights when Shingen visits MC to “watch the moon”:
There’s usually a nice lull where the two sit side by side on a tatami mat, hands just inches apart
The air is crisp, the sky is clear
And the two share the gentlest of smiles with each other while whispering sweet nothings
The thing with Shingen and MC was that they were both fine with those nights being tiny, fleeting moments
Nothing permanent, just casual flirting for a few hours between two attractive people
Of course, it wouldn’t be like this forever—eventually, Shingen would take his romantic utterances a bit too far, a bit too serious, and MC would tell him to quit it
Shingen would then say, “I’m serious, MC. I’m in love with you. I love everything about you.”
A furrow of his brow and a slight frown, Shingen really couldn’t fathom why MC thought he’d be joking about something so important before feeling the sweet sensation of her lips against his

heyyy! thoughts on how nobu, motonari, kenshin, ieyasu, and shingen act in an argument with their s/o, and how they make up? thanks, queen. love your blog btw
Hello! Aw I feel flattered that you like my blog! Thank you for requesting! Also, don’t worry, I saw your other ask adding more to the request.
Getting into an argument and making up.
Oda forces.
Nobunaga Oda.
It’s kind of expected to get into arguments sometimes, Nobunaga is a man who is quite assertive, tends to always win in an argument. But then you two have a fight, it wasn’t about something serious, but still got you two into an argument. It was mostly regarding his attitude, there were still some things that he didn’t understand when it comes to dating. For example, he didn’t understand why you were upset that, at banquets, dancers would dance around him. He wouldn’t pay any attention to them, he had you after all. But that still made you upset, so you confronted him. To him, it wasn’t something to worry about, so you should stop being concerned over it.
It earned him the silent treatment, which… he wouldn’t be able to endure. It pained him when you didn’t answer him or even looked at him. This man is not hesitant about calling a whole war council whenever you are upset. He will then approach you after receiving advice, offering you sweets (his favorites), asking you more softly why you were upset and what he could do to make you happy. Nobunaga will, no questions asked, do anything to make you happy.
Ieyasu Tokugawa.
It’s a bit hard to think of one specific case of when you two argued. It happens a little bit often because of his sour personality. Sometimes he can say things in such a salty way that it can cause an argument. But you usually wouldn’t get upset, and he didn’t like fighting with you, so he would apologize and end the arguments as fast as possible. But on this one occasion, he… was a bit too salty. But you didn’t respond to him right away, when he looked at you…
Oh no, were those tears? No, he didn’t mean to make you cry. He promised to never make you cry or feel sad. The apology came immediately, as well as being pulled into a tight hug. Ieyasu held you tightly as he gave you a million apologies.
Uesugi-Takeda alliance.
Kenshin Uesugi.
The reason was a bit obvious, kenshin can be a bit too overprotective. If you get hurt, even if it’s by accident, he will take care of you like you are in grave danger. And the object that hurted you? He will get rid of it, and any other object that may injure you. You tried talking to him about how he should take it easy and not worry so much about you, that he shouldn’t be so overprotective. He wasn’t trying to argue with you, but it did turn into an argument. To him, it was impossible to be less protective or to try and handle these situations more calmly. You were just too precious to him.
But he noticed that it upsets you that he wouldn’t at least try, and that pained his heart more than anything. He hugs you gently and promises that he will try to grant your wish and be more calm, to not take extreme solutions whenever something happens to you. And believe him, because he will give his all to do that.
Shingen Takeda.
Arguing with shingen can be rare, but it does happen. Of course, you trusted him fully and knew that he would never flirt with someone else, but… it still upset you a little bit how he would still get surrounded by women no matter where you two go. Other reasons for a possible argument is if he isn’t taking proper care of himself, or when he doesn’t tell you that something might have happened to not worry you. Regardless of the reasons, you will scold him because you seriously care about him.
Shingen will not try to argue in a way that makes you more upset. He will try to soothe you and reassure you that he is going to be ok and nothing can take him away from his goddess. In the end, his sweet words will calm you, but you will still worry about him.
Lone forces.
Motonari Mouri.
Arguments happen often, he can be a bit too cruel with his words sometimes. Insults often leaves his mouth, but he wouldn’t just go and insult you. It’s just that, sometimes, this pirate can be a bit too rough with his words. To the point of being irritating, so you two tend to argue a lot. Some of his crew often joke that you two look like a married couple already.
But arguments often end with… a bit of spicy makeups, one moment you two are arguing about the other being idiots, the other you two are kissing and clinging to each other. And it works, because you two forget all about what you were arguing before.

Thank you for the tag 💕 @alby-rei it has been 4 years already ~
Tagging @yanderepuck @namine-somebodies-nobody @violettduchess
Here are my answers under the cut 💕
(1) What was your first impression of the game? Is this the first Cybird game you've ever played?
My first impression of the game was, “who are these guys, are they from the same game developer as Ikesen and Ikerev? Is that Ieyasu? And who is that fine guy (Leonardo) there?”. Ikevamp is the 3rd Cybird game I’ve ever played beside Ikesen and Ikerev
(2) Who was the character you liked most in the beginning, and is he still your fave?
Leonardo was my first pick and I’ve never changed my oshi since then
(3) How you picked your first route, and whose route was it? Was your favorite suitor available when you first started playing?
I pre-registered the game when they first launch in Taiwan version, Leonardo was one of first 3 suitors, I chose him because I love the voice and the character design, I hadn’t read the preview before choosing him tbh. Everything was so fresh in the beginning~
(4) An unavailable route you're looking forward to:
Leonardo’s sequel, that’s all I need hehe 😉
(5) A character you thought would be different than how he is:
Jean, I thought he was going to be a tough and cold suitor but actually he is a sweet heart, or I must say a cinnamon roll 🥺
(6) Is there a suitor who you used to dislike, but eventually changed your opinion about?
Faust, I didn’t like him mostly because of his glasses (those ugly glasses), the voice, and first half of his route. BUT he’s a gentleman after all and I love the way he loves and cares for MC 😤. To me, he is the contrary version of Leonardo.
(7) Do you remember your first story event?
It was the very first story event when the game was launch, sadly I don’t remember the story now (I need to look up at the epilogue lol, it’s been so long)
(8) Have you ever spent money on the game? Have you tried the free diamonds offers?
I pay to win, my oshi is expensive but I don’t regret spending on him
(9) Do you have a favorite avatar item? Is it a plushie or maybe a unique hairstyle?
For now, I love everything 🥰 my closet is reaching 800 items, too many stuff (cry
(10) Have you ever bought merch of your favorite ikevamp character?
Yesss, I’m a merch collector. Anything I can hunt I will buy them, of course it’s gonna be under my budget
(11) Have you ever mistakingly spent your stamina not in the story event?
Haha, everyone makes mistakes 🤣
(12) What's the luckiest you've ever been when it comes to the gacha? What about your most unlucky memory?
There was a time that Leonardo kept coming home on gacha, he gave me multi 4* &5* cards on consecutive days. My most unlucky memory is that I’ve never lucky 🥹
(13) The slowest you've ever completed a route vs the quickest:
<6 days and > 3 months
(14) Do you use your 5 free chapter tickets daily?
Before yes, I read everyday. Now I will use to read if there are collection events 🤣
(15) A moment in a route that made you cry and a moment in a route that made you laugh:
In Leonardo’s route, when she pushed him down and said she wanted to be with him regardless the fact that they will never have a good ending, that she would be old and away while he is gonna be alone forever.
I have lots of moments in a route that made me laugh, every suitor has that.
(16) Who is your favorite pureblood vampire?
Leonardo 🫶🫶🫶 i love this silly old pureblood
(17) Do you have a favorite CG? What about a favorite card?
Leonardo’s route CG, the one when he smiles so freely.
(18) Any famous historical figures you wished were in ikevamp?
Michelangelo, Rafaello, Bethoveen
(19) What card is currently on your home screen in the game?
The wedding card of the current event
(20) What do you think about the suitors' pets? Which one is your favorite?
They are cuteeeee, I love King, Theo’s dog the most 🥺
P.S, I’m glad I stay
𝟒 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐈𝐤𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐦𝐩 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐚𝐠 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞!

Okay, random thoughts here. My 3D hubby just shaved my legs for me as I am still having a hard time with bending because of my surgery. It's one of those oddly romantic and very sweet things. So, now I am thinking about our warlords.
Which guys do you think would be willing to do such a task or what other tasks can you see them doing to care for their SO who is in a similar state in temporarily needing more help?
I feel like Shingen and Hideyoshi would totally be willing to shave legs and rub lotion on them afterwards (Hideyoshi in such a sweet and caring way and Shingen also sweet and caring, but also showering with compliments to his goddess). I could also see Motonari doing it, but making some crude comments as he does so...and shaving all the way up the thighs.
Aw, that’s nice.
I can totally see those three doing all that, they are just so caring ❤️
I feel like all the guys would do something to help out their SO, especially shave their legs if they have trouble bending, though they would go about it in different ways. I feel like they are super nice to MC in general, before any romancing goes on, helping her take it easy, etc. When they get romantic with her, that niceness just becomes more evident.
As a result, I will rank them on the kind of caretakers they are:
The Warlords Handling a Recovering MC:
Will literally do everything, and I mean everything. Do not even attempt to fight them on this, they will not hear any of it. They are cooking the meals, they are cleaning the house, grocery shopping, the whole nine yards. The ones who will give you a whole bonafide spa treatment just because. You are not moving a muscle to strain yourself until you are a hundred percent, and even then they still might fight you over it: Hideyoshi, Motonari, Kanetsugu, Kenshin
Here we have what I perceive as the perfectionists and the extremely devoted. If you are the kind of person who likes to do some things yourself even while still recovering, beware, because they will not let you. Then again, in general they wouldn’t fancy you doing anything; they love spoiling you rotten.
The one who spoils you with your favorite things and has no qualms giving you the most relaxing shave ever, but also does not mind you doing a bit of your thing just as long as you are not doing anything too strenuous. The one who urges you to take it easy and take it nice and slow, not wanting you to overwork yourself. Prepare yourself for a relaxing time, because they are going to make you forget you were even in pain: Shingen, Yoshimoto, Nobunaga, Kennyo, Masamune
Here we have the less extreme devotees. If you want to go out for a walk, they will not stop you, though they will insist on being around you just to keep an eye on you. Tries to give you your space while still being oh so generous. They also love spoiling you rotten, but tries not to overdo it.
Does everything as tactically as possible. Will read up on everything pertaining to getting the best recovery, what is specifically bothering MC, all that. You may have a mini doctor on your hands, who gives you the best at home care possible. They will give you the best foods that just eases you all over. You will have no worries under their intensive care: Ieyasu, Sasuke, Kicho, Mitsuhide
The go by the book and beyond types. These are the types that will have no problem taking care of you. They can come across a bit like…. Themselves, but they mean well, and would give you a great shave. No need to worry about those troublesome nicks with them, that’s for sure. Their care is top-notch. Also spoiling you, of course.
Heh heh, they are trying their best. They are completely out of their element, they have no idea what they are doing, but they do have spirit and are willing to learn how to get it right. They would practice shaving on themselves before daring to try on you, and would look for advice from fellow friends. They would get you your favorite soup, help you with tasks you struggle to do with yourself, be your best cheerleader: Yukimura, Mitsunari, Keiji, Ranmaru
And just like with the rest, they will spoil you as well. These are the spirited types that due to their love, they will try their absolute best to become the best caretakers they can be, which I find very endearing and sweet.

oh ellie, pls rec me free otome games/dating sim
Hi anony! Sorry for the late reply. Here are some of the free ones I've played and enjoyed so far (of course most of them also has paid options if you want "steamier" scenes). But without furhter ado... here are some of the free games I recommend (´ゝз・)─☆
Ikemen Sengoku (Cybird)
You time-travel to the sengoku era
Characters based on real warlords (Nobunaga, Ieyasu etc.)
5 free chapter tickets every day + free events once in a while
Part 1 character routes are all released in english but the sequel stories is currently being released
Personally it's my favorite game from the Ikemen series because of the plot, writing and soundtrack so definitely recommend this one
Favorite routes: Kenshin, Shingen and Mitsuhide
Ikemen Vampire (Cybird)
You end up living in a mansion filled with figures from history who happen to be... vampires
Characters based on real famous historical figures (Napoleon, Mozart, Da vinci etc. - yes i know lmao)
5 free chapter tickets every day + free events once in a while
Some characters routes are still locked
Favorite routes: Arthur and Napoleon
Ikemen Revolution (Cybird)
Typical Alice in Wonderland setting
5 free chapter tickets every day + free events once in a while
Sequel routes are being released
The story feels a bit repetitive/predictable compared to the other active games in the ikemen series so it's not my favorite storywise, but it's still worth a try
Favorite routes: Jonah and Lancelot
Ikemen Prince (Cybird)
This was just released in english last month so it's pretty new
Basically you've been tasked with picking the next king from the current princes
Like other Cybird games you get 5 free chapter tickets every day
Currently only 3 characters available
I've only played Chevalier's route so far but maybe pick Yves and Leon first if you want romance before the last chapters lmao
Mystic Messenger (Cheritz)
I think everyone has heard of this game
You're tasked with organizing a party after installing a mysterious app and meet the members of the RFA
Works in real-time so can be pretty stressful but is also the charm of this game
Favorite route: Zen and V
The Arcana (Nix Hydra)
You're a magician's apprentice
Lets you choose your pronouns and romance any gender
You have 3 keys everyday to read a story, but they often have infinite keys events on the weekends that let's you binge-read
A lot of the romance-focused options are unfortunately locked behind pay-walls, but you still get a lot of free content storywise
Favorite route: Julian and Nadia
Dangerous Fellows (Lucydream)
A zombie survival game
Interesting story but can be hard to pick a route at first if you're only paying for free, so i recommend looking at walkthroughs for this one
Favorite route: Zion (because he's the only one whose route I could get so far lmao)

Do you think you could do one about ieyasu + spicy? I would love that terribly so =D Ty in advance :)
This didn't come out as spicy as I meant it too. So, a little spicy, a lot sweet. Approx. 1100 words.
Ieyasu woke early to collect herbs for the tonics, creams, and poultices Azuchi needed. He could pay someone to gather them for him, but he found his trips to the countryside refreshing. Today would be the first time someone came with him on one of these excursions.
The chatelaine yawned as she met him by the gate and rubbed her eyes. “Morning.”
“If you’re still tired, you should go back to bed. I don’t need you to come with me.” Ieyasu adjusted his bag and refused to look at her adorably sleepy face.
“No! I’m - I’m awake. Just not used to being up before the sun. I’m sure I’ll be fine once we get going.” She smiled and picked her bag up from the ground.
They left just as the first hint of dawn touched the eastern sky. The road was a pale, silver line twisting through grassy fields and clustered homes. Neither of them said much. The chatelaine’s gaze was distant and dreamy.
Ieyasu knew he should be focusing more on their surroundings, but his eyes were drawn to her like iron filings to a lodestone. Her hair hung down her back, tied with a loose ribbon, like flowing silk. He itched to touch it. To run his fingers through the strands and hold them against his cheek.
He wished that was all he wanted but it wasn’t. Her lips looked soft and sweet, turned up in that little smile she nearly always wore. He wanted to taste them. To nip and kiss and run his tongue along the edge and inside. If he was honest with himself, he wanted to taste and touch all of her. His imagination ran away with him. Picturing her, in the dawn light, lying back in pale green grass. Her skin dimpled with cold and dew as he ran his hands and lips over every bit.
“Ieyasu?”
“What?” He managed to keep his tone flat and annoyed, despite the blush that crept into his cheeks.
“You were staring at me. Is my hair sticking up?” She patted at her head, trying to smooth the imperfections that didn’t exist.
“I wasn’t staring at you.” He nodded his head toward the line of brush and trees ahead. “I was looking there. That’s Akamegashiwa. We need the bark and the fruit.”
She squinted into the distance. “Oh! How can you tell?”
“Because that’s where I found them last time.” He sighed. “Why did you want to come with me, again? I don’t need you here. You’re no help at all.” Which wasn’t what he wanted to say. He wanted to tell her she was beautiful. That he was glad she asked.
For a moment, she looked hurt by his words, but the expression was hidden behind a smile too quickly. “I know I’m no help to you now but if I learn this stuff, I can go out and get herbs too. Then you can focus on more important things.” She tugged the strap of her bag nervously. “Besides, I - I really like spending time with you. You’re so smart and . . . so cu- ah, learned! It’s like studying with my favorite professor.”
Ieyasu felt his heart thud painfully in his chest. Why did she have to be so precious? “Come on. You’re slowing us down.” He walked past her quickly, hoping she didn't get a look at his face.
She hurried after him.
The sky over the grove blazed with the morning sun as it finally crested the horizon. Around them, birds sang and there was a hum of bees and the rustling of other small creatures. It was peaceful. Perfect. Except the burr of her presence, like an itch Ieyasu could not reach to scratch.
“Is this the plant we need?” She gestured to one of the wide-leafed bushes.
“Yes. Let me show you how to gather the bark without harming it.” Ieyasu knelt to push the leaves back from the branch. “The trick is not to cut too deeply.” He showed her once and then gestured for her to try.
She knelt beside him, leaning her hip into his. “Like this?”
Ieyasu could only nod. The feel of her against him completely scattered his thoughts. Like a flock of birds in a high wind.
Her hands looked so delicate as they brushed aside the leaves. She bit her lip, eyes narrowed. With a careful, measured motion, she cut away a bit of bark. Then she looked at him, expectant.
Somehow, Ieyasu realized, they’d moved even closer. Perhaps she had leaned in, or he. He could feel her breath on his cheek and see every eyelash. “Perfect,” he said in a voice that was lower and rougher than his usual tone. It felt as if his throat was tight and hot.
“Perfect,” she repeated, now so close that her lips almost brushed his.
The moment held, stretching like honey poured from a jar, sweet and still. Neither of them moved, afraid to break it by moving away or moving closer.
Ieyasu’s heart was hammering in his chest, as rapid as a bird in flight. He felt as if he might burst. His body was hot and his skin prickled with fever and a need to - to -
Thought left as the last space between them disappeared. Their lips met with a sudden desperation. A hungry kiss two shy souls had denied themselves for too long. A frantic press of lips, tangled tongues, teeth nipping and tugging. A pleasure so sharp and intoxicating that it almost hurt.
He pressed her back into the soft grass, hands caressing her breasts, her sides, pushing aside her clothing to feel her skin. And she was no less eager, fingers tangling in his hair to pull him closer, digging into the muscle of his back, sliding under his clothes to paint a blaze across his flesh.
Her teeth and lips found his neck, biting and kissing along his shoulder.
He ran the rough pad of his thumb over her nipples, enjoying the way she gasped and arched against him. Ieyasu abandoned himself to the sound of her pleased sighs, the taste of her skin, the warmth of shared kisses and soft touch.
The sun rose above their languorous embrace. The trees sang with a light breeze, swaying lightly. Ieyasu knew this time between them had to end. Because he had responsibilities. Because if he didn’t stop, he knew he would take her completely. He couldn’t allow himself that.
Ieyasu disentangled himself from her embrace. It was like tearing his own flesh to pull away, though she released him easily enough. “We need to finish what we came here for.”
She sat up. “Ieyasu -”
“Let’s not talk about it.” He brushed the hair back from her face. Kissed her forehead.
She smiled and met his gaze, her eyes saying the words her lips did not. And Ieyasu knew he loved her too, even if he couldn’t admit it to her yet.

Second Chance Love Ch. 1
A Mitsuhide Fanfic featuring my OC/MC Ava
Angst, fluff, hurt, comfort
Warning: Major character death!
This starts after the events of Hideyoshi's dramatic route...however after taking the arrow meant for Nobunaga, Hideyoshi doesn't make it. Ava is devastated. But a certain kitsune refuses to let her drown in her sorrow. Will love bloom? And what happens when Ava learns Hideyoshi left her one last gift before he died?
Chapter 1 below the cut
Chapter 1
"She still hasn't left her room." Mitsunari spoke during the council.
"She's barely eating anything either." Masamune added. "I make her favorites, but she just picks at the food."
"It has been three weeks." Ieyasu said.
"We can't allow her to go on like this." Nobunaga agreed.
"I don't think it will be that easy to bring back Lady Ava's smile...not after that." Ranmaru added.
"Her grief is too great." Mitsuhide agreed.
"I tried talking to her, telling her the only way we can honor the dead is to keep moving forward." Masamune said. "But she wouldn't listen to me."
"She's too bright and her heart is much softer than that, Masamune." Mitsuhide replied.
"You have an idea, Mitsuhide?" Nobunaga asked.
Mitsuhide nodded. "I believe so, yes."
Carnelian eyes met amber ones. "Then you have my permission. Whatever you believe she needs then do it."
Mitsuhide bowed his head. "My lord." He was then getting up and leaving the room before Nobunaga even called an end to the council.
Nobunaga sat on his dias looking rather disgruntled. He looked at the empty place to his right. "You stupid monkey." He said to where no one else could hear.
Ava...
Ava lay in her futon, her doors open to the garden. She stared blankly outside. It was raining outside. It had started raining she wasn't sure how many days ago now, but it was about the same time she had run out of tears. It was as if the sky were crying for her. Even the heavens wept now for the absence of the sun.
Had it been days, weeks, or months since she'd last left her room? Since she'd last slept? She couldn't tell. She was a shell of her former self, missing the warmth of the sun who had made her life in the Sengoku much brighter. She couldn't sleep. Every time she closed her eyes...so much blood...and then he was gone.
It was then that the door to her room was thrown open. "My goodness, I came to see Ava, but it appears I have stumbled upon a corpse." Came the familiar silvery voice.
She didn't turn or move at the barb. "Sure." She said, with none of her usual bite in her tone.
With her back to him, Ava didn't see the frown on Mitsuhide's face at her lack of life. She had always bit back whenever he teased her. Of course now was not the time to give up. He schooled his features and let out a sigh. "It appears I must take drastic measures." He said before reaching down and yanking the futon cover back from her body.
Finally she looked at him, though her eyes didn't widen nor her lips begin to scold him. She just looked at him none of her usual spark in her eyes. "What...are you doing?" She asked slowly, almost mechanically.
"I am getting you out of here." He answered.
"Just...please...go away...leave me...alone." She said, though there was no true emotion in her voice.
"Sorry little mouse, but I can't do that." Mitsuhide replied. He was then reaching down and picking Ava up. "We've lost one bright sun. I'm not about to lose another."
Ava looked up at him, emotion flickering in her eyes finally. "I..."
Mitsuhide looked down at her. "We are bringing you back to the land of the living." He informed her. He carried her out of her room and didn't set her down until they had reached the baths.
"What...are we doing here?" She asked.
"You haven't left your room since the funeral. That was three weeks ago. Before we take you out, this is what you need." He informed her.
Ava hadn't really thought about how long it had been. "I... uh... "She stammered.
Mitsuhide gave her a smile. "Come on now. Get in, or would you prefer I strip you down and throw you in myself?" He asked, his tone teasing. "I can even scrub your hair and back."
For the first time in weeks emotion other than grief flashed across Ava's face. Indignation. "I can bathe myself! I was...just waiting for you to get out so I could have some damn privacy!"
Mitsuhide gave her another smile, this one somehow seemed gentler to her. He was indeed happy to have gotten a reaction out of her. He put up his hands and backed out of the room. Ava threw the door closed as soon as he was on the other side. "So cold to me, throwing me out here like this when I am simply trying to care for you." Mitsuhide called through the door.
"Just...shut up Mitsuhide!" Ava barked out at him.
Mitsuhide was almost grateful for the door between them. It allowed him to openly show the happiness on his face. Though it was a far cry from who she had been before, something of the old Ava was coming back to life. Emotions were finally sparking to life in her once again. "You might want to forget about me and get in the bath before the water gets cold." He told her. "And there is a fresh change of clothes in there for you as well."
"I'm...getting to it. It would be easier to forget about you if you'd leave me alone." She replied.
"I apologize, but I can't do that." Mitsuhide replied. "Now get to your bath. We have places to be."
"Places?" Ava asked.
"You will see when we get there." He told her. "Now, come on."
"Alright." She called as she began to remove her robes. She climbed into the bath, letting the warm water wash over her skin. "You know...I don't really want anywhere though right?"
"I know." Mitsuhide replied. "But what you want and what you need are two different things."
Ava sighed. She went about cleaning herself up. She was sure she had taken baths in the time since the funeral, but she honestly couldn't remember. She'd locked herself in a haze where every movement she made was mechanical. She ate only enough to survive and spent most of her time lying in her futon. She hadn't even felt like sewing or sketching a design.
She felt like she was still moving somewhat mechanically in this bath, but perhaps her movements weren't quite as stiff. She was feeling slightly aggitated by Mitsuhide. The first thing she had felt besides the emptiness that had been consuming her for weeks now.
Once her bath was over, Ava dried off and slid into the clean kimono that had been left out for her. She didn't take notice of the beautiful fabric as she once would have. Normally something this beautiful would have spoken to her inner fashion designer, but that light was still out currently.
She exited the room to find Mitsuhide waiting in the hall for her. "I guess I'm ready." She said.
He looked at her. "Not with your hair like that." He replied. "I supposed I'll have to fix it for you." He was then taking her by the hand and leading her back to her room. He sat her down in front of her mirror and grabbed her comb and began to comb it out.
"I can...do that." Ava protested, though it was weakly.
"I don't think you would do a proper job in your current state little one." He replied. He set the comb aside and his long slender fingers began to pull her hair up and style it. He didn't do anything too fancy, but he did choose something that suited her. "There now you're presentable."
"Thanks...I think." Ava replied.
Mitsuhide thought he detected a bit of bite to her words. Yes, bite back at me, little mouse. He thought. Give me all of your negative emotions. I'll take it all for you, until you're ready to face it. He encouraged her in his thoughts. "Alright, now come along."
"Where are we going?" Ava asked.
"Out." Mitsuhide answered.
"I don't really feel like going out." Ava replied.
"Do not make me carry you once again little mouse." Mitsuhide replied. "Only this time I will throw you over my shoulder."
Ava huffed. "Fine, I'm coming."
The pair left the castle, Mitsuhide leading Ava through the town. Ava was surprised to see that the rain had finally stopped, though dark clouds still managed to hang in the sky.
Mitsuhide took her to a tea house and ordered a rather large assortment of food and tea. "Why did you order so much?" Ava asked.
"Because you need to eat." He answered simply. "Now start eating or would you prefer I feed you?"
Ava shot a glare at Mitsuhide. "I can feed myself...I'm just...I'm not all that hungry."
"Masamune says you have only been picking at the meals he brings you." Mitsuhide replied. "You need to eat more than that. It's not good for your health you know."
"Fine." Ava replied, picking up her chopsticks and she began eating.
After eating, Mitsuhide took Ava with him as he ran various errands through the castle town. When the day was over instead of taking her back to the castle, he took her with him to his manor. "Why aren't we going back to the caslte?" She asked.
"To give you a change of scenary." He answered. "You've been locked up in your room for too long already little mouse."
"So the solution is to stay with you?" She asked.
"Where better for me to keep an eye on you?"
"Why?" Ava asked.
"Why what?" Mitsuhide asked.
"Why...why are you...doing all of this?" Ava asked.
Mitsuhide gave her one of his sugnature smiles. "Why indeed."
Just then one of his vassals appeared, bowing. "My lord, I finished preparing the guest room as you requested."
"Good work Kuyubei." Mitsuhide replied, he was then taking Ava's hand. "This way little one."
Ava followed Mitsuhide to the room and went behind a changing screen to put on her night robes. When she came out, she looked down at the futon that was laid out for her with little interest.
"Is something wrong?" Mitsuhide asked.
"I just...I don't feel much like sleeping." She answered.
Mitsuhide saw it in her eyes. She hadn't slept in days...she couldn't else she see the horror of her love dying before her eyes. He knew that haunted look, he had seen it in the mirror many times. He found himself sitting on the floor by the top of the futon. "Come now." He said, patting his lap.
Ava looked at him. "What?"
"Come, I shall be your pillow, just for a little while." He told her.
"I don't see how that will help."
"Just come, I know a few tricks." He replied.
Ava hesitated a moment more before going over to lay in the futon, her head resting on Mitsuhide's lap. He brushed her eyes closed and soon long cool fingers were stroking her hair. "You should really get some sleep. We have another busy day ahead of us tomorrow, little one."
Ava seemed to let out a huff. "You're forcing me out again?"
"Yes, you are my assistant now." Mitsuhide informed her.
"Whatever." Ava replied, her eyes still closed.
Mitsuhide continued to stroke her hair for what seemed like hours before her breathing finally evened out into the steady rhythm of sleep. He gazed at her sleeping face. She didn't appear to be resting peacefully, a pained expression on her face.
"I promise it will get easier to carry little one." He whispered to her sleeping form.
Mitsuhide continued to watch over Ava as she slept. Every time she would start to cry or show any sign of discomfort, he would sooth her by patting her back or stroking her cheek. He was determined to help her get some rest.
Ava began to stir. An anguished cry left her lips. "Hideyoshi! No! Don't...don't leave...don't do...this." She then broke down into sobs, though her eyes remained closed.
Mitsuhide stroked her back. "Shh, Ava, sh." He soothed her as one might sooth a child. "I know it hurts now, but it will get easier. You are not alone."
His words and actions seemed to sooth her and she was soon resting a bit more peacefully, though she still had a pained expression on her face. Mitsuhide let out a small sigh. "You are not alone, Ava." He whispered to her sleeping form once again. If it took guarding her dreams all night, he would do it. Anything for her.
He looked out the opened window and up at the stars. "I will look after her. You left and now it is up to me."

🤡💋🤩 for the ask game!
🤡 Okay, so, I make myself laugh a lot while writing. But a lot of times its more of a cackle? Because I'm either being angsty or smutty and just "mwehehe" in general. But I think most recently I've been dabbling with a new Mass Effect fic with my OC Imogen because of course I am. I'll put the lines here lol
“It’s been two years, Vakarian, and you’re gonna order me around? I swear when I see you I’m gonna kick your ass.” Her words were slightly choked as she said them and they could hear her footsteps running in the base. “Shit. Why the hell are there more heavy mechs?!” She cursed, half forgetting her line was still active.
“You’ve got an M-29 with a piercing mod. You’ll be fine,” Jacob huffed lightly. Garrus’ gaze narrowed at the man slightly but he knew arguing would get them nowhere.
“Shut up, Jacob,” Imogen bit out on the other end of the com. Shepard held back a small laugh and Garrus caught himself smiling. “So what’s the plan?” An explosion sounded and the crew heard Imogen laugh loudly. “Gotcha, assholes!”
💋 I LOVE FIRST KISS FICS they're so cute I can't stand it. They make me melt and make my heart go all wibbly.
🤩 This was a tough one to think about. I think I really, really enjoy writing Theo the most. And by that extension I'll probably really like writing Ieyasu when I get around to his route. Other than Ikemen, though, and I haven't posted any more of it and probably never will that fic has been on hiatus for FOREVER, I love writing Toshinori Yagi/All Might. He's one of my favorite broken men lol
Give me a few emoji asks!

(Lords except Sasuke)
Nobunaga: I want a lot of children with you, there's no need for this. Hmh.
Also Nobunaga: They don't have konpeito flavored I see.
MC: Even if they have one, it's not for you to taste it anyway >/////> *cough*. Unless it's a lube.
Nobunaga: Lube? Good. Let's find one..!
-----
Hideyoshi: O- Oh. Future things are really... Advanced. D-don't misunderstand MC, of course, I want a child with you but I wouldn't want to trouble you to carry our child until it took a toll on your body, b-because--
Hideyoshi: ...I know how it's hard for me to control my need for you. So I need this everytime it's not on the safe day. So yeah--
MC: *Nosebleeds and covers her nose while the other hand gives a 'thumbs up' 🤭👍*
-----
Masamune: *Binge buy on MCD flavored, KFC flavored, and random food flavored*
While MC: *eye twitch* I only saw it on certain website.. To think it really existed ಠ_ಠ.
Masamune: Well, Kitten. I want you to feel good in your mouth, otherthanswallowingmycum so why not (˵ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)?
MC: Make sure you didn't buy my favorite food unless your wee wee will be chewed.
Masamune: Hoooh my kitten is kinky eh (˵ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°˵)❤.
-----
Mitsuhide: There's no need for me to buy as your "natural" lube is more than enough.
MC: H-Hey...! S-sto--
Mitsuhide: And besides, you enjoy it when I cum all over your face, right? *Says it while whispering into her ear*
MC: M-M-M-MITSUHIDE >//////<
Nearby worker: *MAJOR NOSEBLEED + FAINTS* x///////x
------
Ieyasu: So they have choices.. *coughs and blushes when he studied them*
MC: Um.. Would you like to try one?
Ieyasu: I-It's not that I'm curious, s-still.. *lower his voice* even if we try the super thin ones.. That will be too bad as I love to feel the way you clamp all over me, your adorable mouth down there it is.
MC: Oh Papa of Wasabi-- I may need some iron supplement from that-- oh shi- nosebleed-- incoming nosebleed @//////@!!!
-----
Mitsunari: *Learns about it* Oh.. So it helps to prevent from getting pregnant.
MC: Uhuh 😊.
Mitsunari: I see.. But.. Well.. I've read some of the books that Sasuke-sama lend to me, s-so... If it helps to hold the.. You know, my c-cum, what would happen to the possible babies...? *Genuinely sad* I really.. No, I will be the happiest men if I'm surrounded with lots and lots of children, especially when you are the mother to my child (´;ω;`).
MC: ................*TEARS FALL LIKE WATERFALL* UGHHHH MITSHUNAREH I'M SORRY FOR BRINGING YOU HEREEEEEE 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Kenshin: Hmh. There is no need for me.
MC: *Lower voice* Exactly. Your bunny lord in heat mode will broke the condom anyway :v
Kenshin: And its a waste. Also, a pain for me to change it every single round. *Scoffs*
MC: Yes, yes indeed :v.
Kenshin: Did you say something?
MC: Oh, I'm just saying we should just get to the candies section. See? They have plum candies :v.
-----
Shingen: Hmm.. I'm conflicted. My size is not here.
MC: We should go to Germany then. *Lower her voice* Your size would not be a problem there.
Shingen: Hmm? You wanted to travel to foreign country? Sure, my goddess. As long as I'm with you 😏✨.
MC: I'm being sarcastic but nevermind that hohohohoho :v
-----
Yukimura: *Literally cover his face + peek with one eye + blush like mad + peek again* OH F--- AUDJSKSKJDLSLSF O/////////O I CAN'T!!! *runs out from the shop*

ikemen opinions 4/?
i recently finished kenshin uesugi’s route and of course i have to write about him. i finished it a few days ago, but like before i started writing these reviews heh. kenshin and ieyasu are kinda tied for being my one and only sengoku warlord. ieyasu isn’t insane, but i loved the devotion of kenshin’s love. hard to pick between my two blonde boys. i have a type if you guys can’t tell. you know the drill! spoilers below the read line :)
*disclaimer* : please keep in mind that these are my personal opinions which will of course differ from others!! i’d also like to disclose that i do in fact pay to play, but i only pay for that i deem worth it. i don’t spend money on events or for chapter tickets.
character: kenshin uesugi (ikemen sengoku)
route: dramatic
rating: 8/10
overall thoughts: listen. i am in love with this man. the love between kenshin and mc is very romantic if you don’t mind a little bit of crazy here and there. i think what really makes this route so great is the banter and dynamic of not only kenshin and sasuke but the uesugi-takeda alliance in general. i really recommend this route to anyone, it’s so interesting.
highlights:
what a weird but loving man. the definite best part of kenshin is how devoted he is in loving the mc. like he is just so head over heels in love and even though he’s weird about being too loving, the idea of finding that kind of love is intriguing to me.
i love the dynamic between sasuk, mc and kenshin so much. mostly for sasuke’s witty humor and the way he sneaks in modern day jokes and it confuses kenshin. and how well sasuke and mc get along and how well sasuke understands and cares for kenshin. a sweet trio.
the usegi-takeda alliance is so fun. like the dynamic between eveyone in this is so fun and i think that’s what made the route so exciting besides the romance of course. i especially love that shingen in the reason kenshin finally comes to mc’s cell. i loved this little family so much that i am now playing yukimura’s route heh.
THE BUNNIES.
KING OF THE BUNNIES.
HEAD OF THE BUNNY CLAN.
maybe it’s my daddy issues, but i loved kenshin’s struggle with understanding how to love in a healthy way. idk i have a weird thing for handsome, blonde men and them being overly protective/possessive. no i am not crazy.
dislikes:
of course he’s mentally il and has a lot of trauma, and i don’t mind the most of it, but i hate the main conflict being that he’s decided to take over all of japan and kill everyone to make sure that no one would ever want to touch the mc again. i like the resolution, but for some reason this just feels so out of left field and in a bad way. i don’t have a solution for this like i don’t have a better idea for the big plot twist in this route but i just didn’t love the canon twist.
i think the story behind ishime is weak. that’s all. i mean yeah it’s sad and it took a really bad toll on kenshin but i feel like it would have been more interesting if she had been killed by and enemy or those in his clan rather than taking her own life and that would help the plot of kenshin being absolutely manic about the idea of losing his new love.
i think that it’s super lame that the solution for kenshin’s trauma is basically that,, true love fixes all??? like yeah we’re all here for the romance and the routes are only so long, but i just think that aspect could have been a little better but y’know still an overall good route.
favorite memory: um i don’t wanna be a horny freak but... ‘claw marks’ like are you joking me? the vulnerability? the sweet love making? it’s so good. but also ‘like a rabbit’ i feel like is both sweet and iconic because of kenshin exposing himself as the leader of the rabbit clan. it’s so cute and i just love how tough he still thinks he is when he literally has an army of rabbits that follows him around his castle.
this isn’t a savable memory but i wish it was, i loved the dramatic epilogue where kenshin and his vassals are having a tournament to celebrate his recovery. it’s just so fun and so typically ‘the god of war’ esque. i love the dynamic of kenshin with his vassals because they believe in him so much, the love the mc, and of course the iconic dynamic between kenshin, sasuke and mc. and i loved sasuke and the vassals using mc as their last resort to beat kenshin because as soon as she walks up he rolls over like a puppy. idk why but i just love when the super tough and seemingly cold person is just gentle and head over heels for the soft and sweet but sturdy one.
